Foremark Performance Chemicals Announces the Appointment of Barry Penney as President
Foremark Performance Chemicals, a market and technology-driven leader in natural gas scavenging and formalin for petrochemical intermediates, today announced the appointment of Barry Penney as President, effective April 1. In this role, Barry will lead the company’s commercial organization, including sales, marketing, and business development, supporting the company’s strategy to accelerate growth and expand customer-focused innovation.
Barry brings nearly four decades of leadership experience across the specialty chemicals and industrial sectors, including roles spanning operations, supply chain, capital projects, and private equity-backed growth platforms. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at SK Capital, where he focused on chemicals investments. He has also held senior leadership positions with Exxon, Bayer, Cytec, Ascend, Tritex, and other specialty chemicals businesses.
