Foremark Performance Chemicals Canada Site Fully Operational

June 1, 2025 — Foremark Performance Chemicals, a technology-driven leader in natural gas sweetening applications, has announced that its Canada site is now fully operational, marking a significant milestone in the company’s North American growth strategy.

Foremark acquired the strategically located site near Edmonton, in Sturgeon County, on June 24, 2024, with the vision to expand its footprint and better serve energy customers across all major plays within Canada. In less than a year, the company has completed the first phase of a major capital upgrade.  This investment underscores Foremark’s commitment to bringing advanced chemical solutions closer to the point of need for its customers.

With the new site and expansion now online, Canadian energy producers gain access to local supply of Foremark’s full suite of proprietary sweetening technologies. These include the company’s patented non-solids and formaldehyde free product portfolio, designed to meet strict regulatory standards while improving operational efficiency in treating sour gas and liquids.

“Having a fully operational site in Canada reinforces our position as a technology leader in the sweetening space across North America,” said Randy Owens, CEO of Foremark.  “More importantly, it brings our innovative solutions within reach of our Canadian customers, reducing supply chain complexity and ensuring timely delivery.”

This new operational capability represents a key step in Foremark’s long-term vision to lead the industry with sustainable, high-performance chemical solutions.
